Valley Fire to Headline Second Concert in the Park
Escalon is gearing up for its second free “Concert in the Park” event on Friday, July 11, with temperatures expected to surpass 100 degrees. The popular local band, Valley Fire, is scheduled to perform on the city’s Main Street Stage, offering residents a cool evening of music.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, Don Bionaz will once again be providing complimentary ice cream to all attendees. This initiative aims to create a family-kind habitat and enhance the community experience.
County Funding Supports Summer Entertainment
The concert series is made possible thanks to funding from the office of San Joaquin County Supervisor Robert Rickman. Discretionary funds from District 5 were specifically allocated to support the three-concert series, demonstrating a commitment to local arts and culture.
The Friday night event will run from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The final concert in the series,featuring a band yet to be announced,is slated for friday,August 8.

Beyond the concerts, the Escalon Chamber of Commerce is hosting its regular Farmer’s Market.the next market will take place on Wednesday, July 16, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This weekly event offers a diverse range of attractions, including fresh produce, merchandise vendors, live music, children’s activities, and a dedicated food court area.
The Farmer’s Market will continue to operate weekly, with the final market scheduled for Wednesday, August 20. This provides residents with ongoing access to local goods and community engagement opportunities.
