LOWELL, MA – UMass Lowell men’s lacrosse coach Drew Kelleher has announced the hiring of Brett Tenaglia as an assistant coach, bolstering the program ahead of the 2026 season.
Tenaglia brings over four years of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels, most recently serving as the offensive coordinator at Western Connecticut State University.
“We’re really excited to welcome coach Tenaglia to our staff,” Kelleher stated. “He has a passion for coaching and has been surrounded by some of the best coaches in the sport throughout his career as a player and a coach. I know that he will be a tremendous addition to our program.”
At Western Connecticut State, Tenaglia spearheaded the progress of a high-performance offensive system, leading the team to an undefeated conference record and an NCAA Tournament appearance. his contributions were recognized with a selection to coach in the north/South D3 All-Star game.
Prior to his coaching career, Tenaglia was a four-year player and 2024 team captain for Syracuse University’s men’s lacrosse team.
