The decisive moment unfolded during the second ascent of Pustevny, where 22-year-old Cian Uijtdebroeks launched a bold attack four kilometers from the finish line. He was initially joined by Lecerf and Italian rider Fancellula, but quickly distanced them. Though, a stunning late surge from a chasing group, including 21-year-old czech cyclist Tomáš, dramatically altered the race outcome.
Uijtdebroeks, seemingly on the verge of victory, began to fade in the final meters, allowing the pursuers to close the gap. Lecerf capitalized on the situation, delivering a powerful sprint to secure both the stage win and the overall Czech Tour championship.
