New Schedule Announced: Men’s Golf 2025-26 Season Revealed

Oakland Golden Grizzlies Unveil 2025-26 Men’s Golf Schedule

Rochester, MI – The Oakland Golden Grizzlies Men’s Golf team is preparing for the 2025-26 season under the guidance of new Head Coach Robby Pickett, and have recently publicized their comprehensive competition schedule.

Fall Season Kickoff and Road Swing

The Golden Grizzlies will inaugurate their fall campaign by hosting the Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate at their home course on September 13th and 14th. Following this initial tournament,the team will embark on a series of four road events before the close of the calendar year. these include participation in the Badger Invitational in Wisconsin on September 22nd and 23rd, the Tom Tontimonia Invitational at Cleveland State on October 6th and 7th. Further challenges await at the Purdue Fall Invitational in West Lafayette, Indiana, from October 13th too 14th, concluding with the Flyer invitational at Dayton on October 20th and 21st.

The team will be looking to replicate their prior success, especially their victory at the 2024 Tom Tontimonia Invitational at Cleveland State, where they finished seven-under-par across two rounds (276, 277). senior Luke kelly distinguished himself at that event, securing the individual title with a score of 135 (-5) at Pine Hills Golf Club.

Spring Season and Championship Pursuit

After a winter hiatus, the Golden Grizzlies will resume competition with the Bentwater Intercollegiate hosted by Sam Houston State, scheduled for mid-February. A trip to Louisiana will follow, where the team will participate in the Golden Nugget Invitational at McNeese from March 2nd to 3rd.
