Italian Musical Talent to Showcase at Prague Performance

Prague, Czech Republic – A select group of students and educators from the Arturo Toscanini Conservatory will soon embark on a important international tour, bringing Italian artistry to the heart of Europe. The performances, scheduled from October 18th to 20th, represent a collaboration between the Conservatory and several esteemed cultural institutions.

A Collaborative Effort

The initiative is the result of a partnership involving the italian Embassy, the italian Cultural Institute, the State Conservatory of dance, and the Municipality of Prague. Italia Arte Fest and the Daniele Della Bona Foundation are also key collaborators,coordinating and promoting the events. Professor Mariangela Longo, Director of the Conservatory, alongside Deputy Director Simone Piraino and President Giuseppe Tortorici, are leading the organizational efforts. Funding for the project is partially provided by the MUSIC4D program – a component of the Next Generation EU initiative.

International Recognition

The Arturo Toscanini Conservatory has recently garnered significant acclaim. In 2025, the institution was chosen by the Ministry of University and Research to represent Italian academic excellence at the Osaka World Expo with a work titled “La Suite dei Templi.” Furthermore, the Conservatory was awarded a substantial grant from SIAE/MIC’s “Per Chi Crea” program, paving the way for participation in the World Jazz Festival in amersfoort, Netherlands.
