Florian Grouffal, VP Sales Marketing at Furious Squad, discussed the evolving role of artificial intelligence within marketing and communications agencies on BFM Business’s Tech&Co Business program on Monday, February 16th. Grouffal’s appearance centered on a critique of the current state of AI implementation in the agency world, asserting that generative AI has become a “commodity” and that agencies are lacking a crucial element: AI capable of strategic decision-making. According to Furious Squad, this decision-making capability extends beyond content creation to encompass financial oversight and project risk management.

“What’s missing from agencies is AI that pilots,” Furious Squad stated in a LinkedIn post accompanying news of the broadcast. “It doesn’t read your margins and doesn’t predict project crashes. Furious does.” The company positions its technology as a “nervous system” connecting data to facilitate proactive decision-making, aiming to shift agencies from a reactive “firefighter” mode to a proactive “builder” approach.

During a keynote presentation at the WAICF – World AI Cannes Festival on February 13th, Furious Squad advocated for prioritizing “deciding better” over simply “producing more” with AI. The presentation, titled “Boost your service company with AI,” featured Philippe Brunot and emphasized the automation of execution while highlighting the increasing value of strategic decision-making.

Furious Squad’s LinkedIn profile indicates the company had over 2,016 followers as of February 16th. The company encouraged attendees of the WAICF to visit their booth at the Startup Village or attend the keynote to discuss return on investment and practical AI implementation.

The Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS) list from Revenue.ie, dated Q3 2021, includes several companies with names similar to “Furious Squad” or related terms, such as “BFM PLASTERING LIMITED” and “BFR PACKAGING & PROCESS,” but does not list Furious Squad directly.
