Season 10 of Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” premiered on February 11, 2026, with a unique twist: one couple, Christine Hamilton and Victor St. John, were sent on a solo getaway to Malibu, California, rather than a group trip to Mexico. The decision, initially shrouded in mystery, was ultimately due to budgetary constraints, according to a producer for the show.
The reality television series, created by Chris Coelen, began releasing episodes weekly in four parts, starting with six episodes on February 11th. The season is scheduled to conclude on March 4, 2026, with a total of 12 episodes released incrementally. The format unfolds over four weeks: initial “pod” episodes focusing on connections and proposals, a honeymoon phase, a period of moving in together and meeting families and finally, wedding episodes.
This season features 32 single men and women, aged between 28, and 38. By the sixth episode, the field has narrowed to 12 contestants and six engaged couples: Jordan and Amber, Emma and Mike, Bri and Connor, Jessica and Chris, Brittany and Devo, and Ashley and Alex. The initial group of seven engaged couples was reduced when Hamilton and St. John were sent to Malibu.
The decision to send Hamilton and St. John to Malibu sparked considerable fan speculation. Some viewers initially guessed they might return as wildcard contestants later in the season, but producers have clarified the move was purely logistical. According to reports, the show simply could not afford to send the couple to Mexico with the rest of the group.
Beyond the Malibu detour, season 10 has already generated discussion among viewers. One notable incident involved contestant Elissa Finley accidentally applying nail glue to her eyes instead of eye drops. Medical personnel were able to flush the glue from her eyes, and Finley has continued to appear on the show.
Some viewers have similarly noted a shift in the season’s tone, describing it as more romance-focused compared to previous seasons, which often emphasized conflict and drama. This change has been met with mixed reactions from longtime fans of the series.
Historically, “Love Is Blind” has had a mixed record regarding lasting marriages. Seasons one and two saw successful unions between Lauren and Cameron, and Amber and Barnett, respectively. However, seasons three, four, five, and eight all resulted in no couples remaining married. Season nine broke the show’s legacy with zero married couples. The outcomes for the couples in season 10 remain to be seen.
