ODU Golf Opens Spring at Dorado Beach Collegiate Tournament

Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico, is set to welcome a field of 15 collegiate golf teams, including Old Dominion University, as the Monarchs begin their spring schedule at the Dorado Beach Collegiate this Sunday. The tournament, hosted by UNC Greensboro, will take place at the TPC Dorado Beach from February 22nd through February 24th, offering a challenging test for the competing squads.

Old Dominion is making its fifth consecutive appearance at the Dorado Beach Collegiate, a testament to the program’s commitment to competing at a high level during the spring season. Last year, the Monarchs finished 14th overall with a combined score of 11-over par 875. Philip Minnehan, an Old Dominion alumnus, led the team with a strong individual performance, tying for 21st place at two-under par 214. The tournament provides a crucial opportunity for the team to assess their game and build momentum as they head into the heart of the season.

The three-day event will begin with 7:30 a.m. ET tee times for the first two rounds, culminating in a final round on Tuesday with a 7:00 a.m. ET start.
