For paddling enthusiasts, Dominion Energy Riverrock will host several competitive events on Saturday, May 16th, and Sunday, May 17th. These include the Kayak Boatercross, SUP Cross, and Downriver Paddle, each with a $20 entry fee. Registration for these events is open until March 15, 2026, after which the price will increase according to PaddleSignup. The Kayak Boatercross and SUP Cross will feature head-to-head races down the rapids, while the Downriver Paddle will challenge participants to navigate a longer course.

Beyond the athletic competitions, Dominion Energy Riverrock offers a platform to support the James River Park System and Richmond Riverfront.
