Marc Roston Joins Hamilton Insurance Group Board of Directors | Hamilton Insurance Group

PEMBROKE, Bermuda – Hamilton Insurance Group, Ltd. (NYSE: HG) announced today the appointment of Marc Roston to its Board of Directors, effective February 20, 2026. Roston, a shareholder director, replaces Hawes Bostic, according to a company statement released Wednesday.

The appointment brings to Hamilton a seasoned investment professional with over three decades of experience in analyzing financial performance and business strategy, according to the company. Hamilton Chair David A. Brown expressed confidence that Roston’s expertise would “further enhance our Board’s effectiveness.” Brown also acknowledged Bostic’s contributions, thanking him for his “invaluable support in the pivotal growth years during the lead-up to and following our listing on the Latest York Stock Exchange.”

Currently, Roston serves as a Senior Research Scholar at Stanford University, affiliated with the Doerr School of Sustainability since 2020, focusing on research related to carbon accounting, carbon markets, and climate-related insurance markets. He also holds the position of Operating Partner at DFW Capital Partners, a private equity firm. Since 2009, Roston has operated MNR Capital LLC, an advisory and investment firm where he advises hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance companies, and family offices.

Prior to his current roles, Roston spent 25 years in the asset management industry. From 2004 to 2008, he was a Managing Director at Silver Creek Capital Management, a Seattle-based alternative investment firm with approximately $7 billion in assets under management. While at Silver Creek, he chaired the investment committee and led risk management, and also managed a financial services private equity fund, launching several banks and insurance companies.

Roston’s earlier career included a position as an Investment Manager within the investment arm of McKinsey & Company, where he led a domestic long/short equity investment team overseeing more than $500 million in investments. He also managed asset allocation funds for retirement plans and developed special situation investments. He began his career at J. P. Morgan Investment Management, focusing on quantitative research and long/short equity portfolio management after earning a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago and a B.S. In Economics from Carnegie Mellon University.
