Columbus, Ohio – Ohio State senior gymnast Parker Thackston has been recognized for his outstanding performance at the 2026 Winter Cup, earning the College Gymnastics Association (CGA) Specialist of the Week award. The announcement, made on Wednesday, marks the fourth time in his career that Thackston has received this honor, and his first this season. His exceptional showing at the Winter Cup also secured him a spot on the Men’s Senior National Team.
Thackston’s triumph at the Winter Cup came on the pommel horse, where he achieved a career-high score of 15.325.
