Hamburg, Germany – OTTO, a leading e-commerce company, announced today the completion of its Management Board with the appointment of Marcus von Franck as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), effective June 2026. The appointment was jointly announced by OTTO and the Otto Group.
Von Franck will lead OTTO’s Advertising Services, Marketing and Product Development business units. He joins OTTO from the HelloFresh Group in North America, where he has served as Senior Vice President and CMO since 2023, overseeing the branding, performance marketing, and marketing management of both the HelloFresh and Factor brands.
Prior to his role at HelloFresh, Von Franck spent thirteen years at Amazon in various management positions. His final role at Amazon was as Director EU Prime & Marketing, responsible for marketing across several European markets, including Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, and Turkey, as well as product management for Amazon Prime. He oversaw the expansion of the Prime program and the development of cross-channel funnel and loyalty strategies during his tenure.

Von Franck will join existing Management Board members Dr. Boris Ewenstein (CEO), Andrea Becker (CFO and CHRO), and Dr. Michael Müller-Wünsch (CIO). He acknowledged the announcement on LinkedIn, expressing his enthusiasm for the role and joining the OTTO team.
