Darlin’s Fried Chicken took the top prize in the Best Fried Food category with their Chicken Fried Lobster. The Original Minneapple Pie secured second place with their Minneblueberry Pie, whereas Asian Streetness earned third place for their Deep Fried Edamame with Spicy Garlic Sauce.
On a Stick: Portable Perfection
Asian Streetness also claimed victory in the Best Food-on-a-Stick category with their K’boom K-Dog. Pioneer Wagon’s Bacon Cheeseburger Corn Dog took second place, and Waffle Chix’s Chicken Bacon Ranch Waffle Stick rounded out the top three.

Rousso’s Fat Bacon impressed judges with their Rousso’s Dubai Chocolate Funnel Cake Fries, earning them first place in the Classic Fair Food category. The Finer Diner’s Pork-King Luau Sliders came in second, and Pioneer Wagon’s Loaded Cowboy Fries secured third.

Richie’s Cheese Curd Tacos took home the top honor in the Most Creative Food category with their Brisket Cheese Curd Tacos. Texas Sized Pizza / Burger and Chili Shack’s Skillet Potato Melt… Plus! earned second place, and Fields of Corn’s Loaded Cowboy Corn secured third.
New Flavors Shine
Rousso’s Fat Bacon also won in the Best New Flavor category with their Bacon Jam Brisket Biscuit. Asian Streetness’s Crunchy Sushi Balls took second place, and Go Tejano Diner’s Torta earned third. According to Houston Press, this category highlights the innovative spirit of Rodeo food vendors.
Sweet Endings: Best Desserts
Cajun Cowboy’s Bacon Jam Beignets were crowned the best dessert, while Mamacita’s Chill & Thrill Delight took second place, and Waffle Chix’s Strawberries and Cream Waffle Stick earned third.
