According to the MARN’s meteorological report, increased cloud cover and rainfall are anticipated in the Apaneca-Ilamapetec mountain range, the Balsam mountain range and northern sectors of the departments of Cabañas, Chalatenango, and Santa Ana during the afternoon. The precipitation is expected to extend to western, central, and paracentral areas of the country by nightfall, with a particular focus on Sonsonate, Santa Ana, San Salvador, Cuscatlán, La Libertad, and Cabañas. The rainfall may be accompanied by electrical activity.
Temperatures are expected to remain warm throughout the day, with winds between 10 and 20 kilometers per hour.
