Justin Bieber threw a water bottle toward paparazzi after a dinner date with his wife, Hailey Bieber, in Los Angeles on Friday, March 6, 2026, according to footage published by TMZ. The incident occurred in a parking garage following a meal at Sushi Park in West Hollywood.
The 32-year-old singer, visibly frustrated as photographers surrounded the couple, hurled the half-empty Fiji water bottle after entering a black SUV. The bottle did not strike anyone, falling to the ground instead and the couple subsequently drove away, Billboard reported.
This is not the first instance of Bieber clashing with paparazzi. Last June, he engaged in a heated argument with photographers outside Soho House Malibu, reportedly stating, “I am a real man with a real family” and demanding respect, BGNES reported. In April 2025, Bieber criticized the treatment he receives from paparazzi in Los Angeles, sharing a video on Instagram depicting intrusive camera flashes and photographers blocking his path. He described the situation as “darkness,” according to Rolling Out.
Earlier on Friday, prior to the incident at Sushi Park, Bieber and Hailey were seen having lunch in Beverly Hills, with Bieber photographed with his arm around his wife’s waist. Hailey Bieber, dressed in a cream tank top and a leather skirt during the later incident, did not visibly react to her husband’s actions, BGNES reported.
In a separate incident last summer, Bieber went viral for questioning the motives of paparazzi, asking, “It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business, is it?” The phrase quickly became a widespread meme. Just last week, Hailey Bieber revealed on a podcast that her pregnancy with their one-year-old son, Jack Blues, was unexpected, occurring despite medical advice to undergo surgery before attempting to start a family.
