Adventure Time Pride Special: PB &. MARCY’S INFINITE MIXTAPE #1, a 40-page issue from Oni Press in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, marks the first official Pride-themed installment for the animated series and promises a sweet celebration of queer representation for fans.

The story promises a blend of romance, adventure, and, of course, music, adding a new layer to the couple’s established canon. “One of the most exciting things about this story, though, is the fact that we got the chance to add to one of my favorite parts of Adventure Time canon: the songs,” Knight explained to Polygon. “Yes, this comic isn’t called MARCY and PB’S INFINITE MIXTAPE for nothing, you will get to enjoy the girls writing and performing NEW SONGS!”
Knight shared her enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Adventure Time has been at the heart of my life, friendships, and love of animation since I was lucky enough to catch an episode on Cartoon Network and fall in love with Finn, Jake, BMO, and the rest of the Land of Ooo.” She continued, “To get to write a story in this world that has been touched by so many incredible creators is a dream in itself, but to get to take on a full issue about Marceline and Princess Bubblegum is a total honor.”
