Mąkolina, Poland – A devastating car crash in Mąkolina, a town near Płock in central Poland, has left a 14-year-old girl dead and two others critically injured. Four individuals were transported to hospitals, with the two most critically injured being airlifted by helicopter for advanced medical care.
Bartosz Maliszewski, a spokesperson for the Płock District Prosecutor’s Office, confirmed that a criminal investigation into the fatal traffic accident is underway. Police have confirmed the detention of two individuals who were traveling in the vehicle – the driver and another passenger – to facilitate further investigation and procedural actions, as reported by Eska Warszawa.
Speed a Potential Factor in Crash
Witnesses at the scene reported that the vehicle’s speedometer was stopped at 160 km/h (approximately 99 mph) at the time of the accident.
