Screaming Fist: New Hardcore Punk EP Santa Plaga Out Now

Oakland-based hardcore punk band Screaming Fist have released their new EP, Santa Plaga, today, March 13, 2026. The five-song release marks a significant moment for the band, with this being only their second project available on Bandcamp after the 2019 EP, Templanza.

Santa Plaga is available now through Denver-based hardcore label Convulse Records, a label known for its commitment to the genre. The EP delivers a raw and intense sonic experience, clocking in at 14 minutes and characterized by fierce vocals that shift between melodic passages and outright aggression. The music mirrors this intensity, creating a compelling and energetic listening experience.

The EP’s tracklist includes “Moronada,” “Gotas,” “Fracasos Victorías,” “Está Detrás de Ti,” and the title track, “Santa Plaga.” Listeners can preview the tracks and purchase the digital album, available in MP3 and FLAC formats, directly from Bandcamp. Paying supporters also gain unlimited streaming access through the Bandcamp app. The digital album is available for purchase on a “name your price” basis, and can also be gifted. A 24-bit/44.1kHz download option is also available.

Exploring the Sound of Santa Plaga
