Automakers are offering significant discounts on select models for individuals with disabilities (PcD) in Brazil this March, with Chevrolet leading the way with a nearly R$24,000 reduction on the 2026 Onix AT Turbo. The discounts extend to automatic hatchbacks, which are currently experiencing the largest price reductions for PcD buyers, according to reports.
The Chevrolet Onix AT Turbo 2026 is available with the discount for approximately R$24,000, according to Portal N10. Other manufacturers are also participating, with Volkswagen offering discounts of up to 9% on the Polo for corporate national registration (CNPJ) buyers in March 2026.
Comparisons between vehicles eligible for PcD benefits are also being highlighted. The GWM Haval H6 HEV is priced at approximately Rp 654.8 million, even as the Honda WR-V is listed at around Rp 289.1 million, according to Oto.com. The Haval H6 HEV features a 1.5L engine producing 148 hp and 230 Nm of torque, while the Honda WR-V has a 1.5L engine with 119 hp and 145 Nm of torque.
The Honda WR-V and Haval H6 are being directly compared in terms of specifications, features and pricing, with PCauto offering a comparison tool for potential buyers. The GWM Haval H6, a product of Great Wall Motors, has undergone significant revisions in recent years, with updates occurring as frequently as every 18 months, reflecting a “fail fast” development philosophy common among Chinese automakers. A road test review of the 2025 Haval H6 hybrid by MotoringNZ noted the vehicle’s roomy interior, improved ergonomics, and efficient drivetrain, priced at $45,990.
The 2026 Haval H6 line-up has been streamlined, with the Lux trim now serving as the entry-level option, priced from $35,990 drive-away for the petrol version and $40,990 drive-away for the hybrid, according to CarsGuide. The Premium and Vanta trims have been discontinued. The Haval H6 measures 4703mm in length, 1730mm in width, and 1886mm in height, with a 2738mm wheelbase.
