Naas Racecard: Space Traveller Maiden at Compas Stallions

The Space Traveller At Compas Stallions (C & G) Maiden race is scheduled for 2:40 PM local time on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Naas Racecourse in Ireland. The 7-furlong turf race, with a “Soft” going condition described as “Soft to Heavy in places,” will feature seven runners.

Among the contenders, Accredited, a three-year-aged colt, is attracting attention. Purchased for a “seven-figure” sum at the breeze-up sales, Accredited demonstrated promise in his debut, finishing fourth in a maiden race at Dundalk in October. Trainer A. P. O’Brien and jockey R. L. Moore are associated with the horse. According to current odds, Accredited is favored at 13/8.

Another horse to watch is Sindagan, currently holding odds of 11/10. The race also includes Galileo Noir, a Saxon Warrior colt trained by N. Meade and ridden by Adam Caffrey, currently at 14/1. Kanzashi, a son of Galileo Gold, trained by M. O’Callaghan and ridden by Colin Keane, is listed at 4/1. The horse was gelded ahead of this race and will be fitted with cheekpieces.

New Divide, trained by C. O’Brien and ridden by Shane Foley, is a longshot at 200/1, having shown little in a recent Curragh maiden. Nicky Larson, trained by P. Nolan and ridden by Ronan Whelan, is also considered a longshot at 50/1, having hinted at ability in a maiden at Tipperary last summer, but has also been gelded. Spirit Above is another longshot at 80/1.

The winning time for the race is projected to be 1 minute, and 35.65 seconds. Prize money is allocated as follows: €8,400.00 for first place, €2,800.00 for second, €1,400.00 for third, €701.00 for fourth, €420.00 for fifth, and €280.00 for sixth. Rowdy Yeats won the race in 2025, with jockey Jamie Powell and trainer N. Meade.

Forecasts currently indicate Sindagan as the leading contender, followed by Accredited and Kanzashi. The race is part of a full card at Naas, with the first race scheduled for 13:35 and subsequent races at 14:10, 15:12, 15:47, 16:22, and 17:30.
