A 29-year-old Belgian, Stef Vandevelde, has been missing for several hours in Australia. Local police have posted a wanted poster.
The man was last seen on Tuesday, November 29, around noon. His family reported him missing to the police when they realized he was unreachable. The man has lived and worked in Australia for several years.
“Police and family are seriously concerned for Stef’s well-being,” a statement read. As reported by our colleagues from “Het Laastse Nieuws”, a friend would have testified: “I have no idea where he is. I discovered yesterday morning that he had disappeared, because I am his contact emergency”.
