A 4 year old boy died last night for the injuries sustained when falling from the horseor who rode in a field near the Cordoba town of Saint Anthony of Arredondo, departmental punillaindicated police sources.
According to what was reported, although the causes for which the child -named Elías- fell from the horse are being investigated, data provided by witnesses indicate that the animal would have run away and in the fall it dragged the child causing him several blows.
The boy’s parents indicated that he was riding alone and that the horse got scared and galloped off, leaving Elías hooked in the stirrups unable to avoid being dragged by the animal regarding 200 meters.
The victim’s parents took her to a local medical center, where doctors confirmed her death.
The incident occurred in a rural area called Bosque Alegre, at kilometer 6 of Provincial Route No. 56, and the Prosecutor’s Office of the 3rd turn of Villa Carlos Paz intervenes in the investigation.
