A breathtaking scene of saving a child from a torrent in Medina

The Saudis followed with fear the moments of saving a child who drowned in a torrent in Medina. The situation was documented in a popular video clip on communication platforms showing breath-taking moments of the rescue operation of a child who was detained in the middle of a torrent in the city, where the child remained standing on a rock high above the water level.

A group of young men rushed to save him and extract him from the torrent, following they were able to build a bridge with two planks of wood, while one of them descended into the water and went towards the child, carried him, and took him back to the other side, until he reached his friends who helped him get the child out of the torrent.

In addition, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and a number of affiliated governorates witnessed heavy rains, while the Civil Defense called on citizens and residents not to approach rainwater gathering areas, to stay in homes, and not to go out except for necessity.

For its part, the National Center of Meteorology expected, in its weather report for today, that the opportunity is still ripe for moderate to heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds and hail showers, leading to torrential rains in parts of the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah and Al-Baha extending to parts of the regions. Eastern, Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Al-Jawf and the northern borders.

The sky is also partially cloudy to cloudy, and the opportunity is ripe for thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of the Jazan and Asir regions, while horizontal visibility is affected by fog in parts of those regions, and snow is expected in parts of the northern border region.
