An accident took place this Sunday morning between 10 and 11 a.m. place Joseph Thiry in Aywaille. A car hit terraces installed in the center of the town. According to our colleagues from the DH, only the driver of the vehicle is injured. The latter would have felt unwell before losing control of his vehicle. The terraces were fortunately empty. The damage is significant.
“We were lucky that the places were not frequented when the events occurred. It is almost a miracle that there were no injuries“, indicated Thierry Carpentier, the mayor of Aywaille, to Sudinfo.
