A collision leaves several injured in Saint-Félix-de-Valois

Three people were injured more or less seriously in a collision that occurred early Tuesday evening on Route 131 in Saint-Félix-de-Valois.

Shortly before 6 p.m., a 48-year-old motorist lost control of her vehicle and found herself in the opposite direction on the road, causing a violent frontal collision, summarized Nicolas Scholtus, spokesperson for the Sûreté du Québec (SQ ).

The driver was slightly injured, but was nevertheless taken to hospital. She refused to provide a breath sample to check her blood alcohol level, the spokesperson said.

In the second vehicle, a man and a woman, both 66 years old, suffered injuries and were also transported to a hospital. One of the people had been discharged in the evening, but the second remained under observation.
