a form which “relieves the municipality of all responsibility” creates controversy!

The mayor had communicated at the end of the day, saying that 83% of the students wore the mask on Monday. As a reminder, Courcelles has decided to go further than the federal rules which do not require the wearing of masks for children under 12 years old. The Minister of Education, Caroline Désir had also reacted following the decision of Caroline Taquin, saying that she had “exceeded her prerogatives by adopting a measure manifestly disproportionate to the objective pursued”.

Following this, the Municipality adapted by adding a clause: parents who refuse to impose the wearing of masks on their children must complete and sign a certificate of parental responsibility. In it, the parent “relieves the Municipality of Courcelles of all responsibility. ”
