Wafasalaf’s net banking income stood at 620 million dirhams at the end of June 2023, a slight increase of 0.16% compared to the same period of 2022.
Referring to the company’s recent indicators, the gross outstanding amount reached, for its part, more than 16.34 billion dirhams for the same period, i.e. an increase of 4.5% year-on-year, achieved thanks to the commercial development mainly driven by personal loans. During the 2nd quarter of 2023, the distribution of credit increased by 29.79% compared to the same period of the previous year, thanks to the performance of commercial activity, operated mainly in the segments of auto financing and personal loans, the same source said.
In addition, debts to credit and similar institutions increased by 12.78% at the end of June 2023, standing at 5.56 billion dirhams, and debt securities issued recorded a drop of 5. 77%, to 4.96 billion dirhams.
