Suspected wreckage of the rocket was found. The metal ring and cylindrical objects were found this morning, apparently belonging to the rocket. People are also reported to have seen some objects burning in the long path as if they were burning in the night sky. The incident took place in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra.
The locals were shocked to see the three meter long ring. This object also had heat. Then in another village a spherical object was also found suspiciously.
A team from the Disaster Management Control Room in Mumbai will visit Chandrapur district to inspect the property, officials said.
Experts have suggested that this might be a piece of debris left following the satellite launch. The cylindrical object found in Maharashtra is regarding 1.5 feet in diameter.
The video of the burning objects in the atmosphere was posted by people on social media last night. They were seen in many districts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
