The price of gold jumped today, Wednesday, in Egypt, with the beginning of trading, and the gram increased by 8 pounds at once, compared to its level yesterday, despite the rise in the metal globally.
Gold prices witnessed big jumps in the local market last week, affected by the price of the metal globally, which rose due to the declaration of war between Russia and Ukraine.
Gold prices today
14 karat gold prices rose to 567 pounds per gram.
And the price of 18 karat gold increased to 729 pounds per gram.
And the price of 21 karat gold rose to 850 pounds per gram.
The price of 24 karat gold rose to 971 pounds per gram.

The price of the gold pound jumped to 6800 pounds, and the price may vary from one dealer to another, and this price is equal to the value of gold in the pound, and its price is linked to the prices of a gram of 21 karat.
The price of gold today globally
The global price of gold rose in the early hours of today’s session by 0.07%, to $ 1946.68 an ounce, at 10 am Cairo time, according to Bloomberg Agency data, following a decline during early trading of the session.
The global gold prices rose during yesterday’s session by 1.9% to reach the level of 1945.28 dollars an ounce by the end of the session.
