A liter of gasoline at more than $2 at certain Montreal gas stations

Many expected it and it is now done. The price of a liter of regular gas exceeds $2 a liter at service stations in Greater Montreal.

The psychological bar is not crossed at all gas stations in the region, but the prices are high. In the last few days, in Quebec and Montreal, the price at the pump fluctuated between $1.91 and $1.96.

Gasoline prices will continue to rise over the next few weeks, analysts predict.
