The need for childcare places in Freistadt is increasing rapidly. According to a current survey, three additional kindergarten and two toddler groups will be needed in the medium term. The municipality wants to meet this demand with a childcare center, for which the municipal council has now unanimously created the political basis: A multi-generational house is to be built behind the old hospital on Zemannstraße.
