1,185 hectares is the area of ​​the network of logistics zones set for 2040 in different regions of the Kingdom on the basis of regional plans drawn up by the Moroccan Agency for the Development of Logistics (AMDL).

This objective was reiterated by Mohamed Abdeljalil, Minister of Transport and Logistics in response to an oral question on the development of the logistics and transport sector in Morocco at the House of Councillors. “A first series of priority logistics zone projects has been defined in Agadir, Fez, Casablanca, Kenitra, Marrakech and Beni Mellal, on a total area of ​​230 hectares with a budget of around 1.2 billion dirhams”, notes-t -on from the minister. Regarding the development works of the logistics zone of Ait Melloul in the Souss-Massa region (45 hectares), the minister assured that they started with a budget of 350 million dirhams.
