The candidate for the presidency for the Democratic Option, Virginia Antares, said this Saturday that the politician who distributes money to reach a position in the Government, arrives to steal the public treasury.
“Politicians come with a lot of noise and distribute a lot of things and make a scandal. We at Opción Democrática do not do that kind of politics. Because the one who distributes to arrive, he arrives to steal ”, he expressed.
Likewise, he affirmed that “In the last 60 years that is what has been experienced in the Dominican Republic. A lot of money distribution and they give them the vote, and there they are stealing. That ended”.
Antares assured that Opción Democrática has come to make good politics for the country.
Virginia Antares offered these at the launch of Ariel Contreras Medos’ candidacy for deputy, for constituency 2 of Santo Domingo Este.
The activity was attended by the president of Opción Democrática, Minuo Tavárez Mirabal, the deputy José Horacio Rodríguez, among other leaders of that political organization.
