A new sit-in in front of the Palace of Justice… and the security forces cordoned off the building

The family and friends of the activists Abdel Rahman Zakaria and Muhammad Rostom are witnessing a sit-in in the vicinity of the Beirut Justice Palace, in protest of their continued arrest due to their participation in the depository, Sally Hafez, in entering the “Blom Bank” bank in Sodeco to obtain a financial deposit.

In conjunction with the sit-in that began at 11 am, the security forces reinforced their deployment in the vicinity of the Palace of Justice, where citizens were prevented from approaching the iron divider located in the vicinity of the building.

This morning, Wednesday, judges and lawyers were prevented from entering the Beirut Justice Palace, in the morning, due to precautionary security measures taken in the place.

Today’s move comes following a sit-in in the vicinity of the palace two days ago, during which roads were cut off and skirmishes with army members.
