A person lost his life in a traffic accident involving two trucks and a car, Friday morning on the E25 motorway near Sprimont (province of Liège), indicate the firefighters of the Vesdre-Hoëgne-Plateau area.
The Verviers firefighters intervened on Friday shortly before 12:45 p.m. on the A26/E25 at Sprimont in the direction of Luxembourg towards Liège, following the Sprimont motorway climb. The right lane is obstructed and traffic jams are reported. Two trucks and a car collided. An extrication had to be carried out to extract the driver from the car, stuck between the two trucks. He died on the spot. The Bra-sur-Lienne helicopter intervened. An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the accident.
