News websites and social media pioneers circulated a picture of the retired Syrian actress Norman Asaad, the ex-wife of actor Ayman Zidan.
Information regarding the photo differed, as some sources said that Norman, who is far from the media, came to Damascus to perform the duty of condolence with the departure of Shadi Zaidan.
The same sources also confirmed that the retired Syrian actress was keen not to allow anyone to take pictures of her during her funeral.
On the other hand, other sources denied the news and said that Norman had contacted the family of the deceased to console them, explaining that the circulated picture was from the consolation of one of her relatives in Iraq.
And these sources added, noting that some took advantage of that photo and promoted it as being from Norman Asaad’s presence at the artist Shadi Zaidan’s funeral in Damascus.
