2,000 Brazilian tourists bought hospitality packages to travel to the 2018 World Cup in Russia for $19 million, 4,500 tourists have already confirmed their presence in Qatar and paid $25 million, and total package sales are expected to reach a record $33 million.

The 5,000 tourists are the ones who will travel to Qatar with tickets to attend at least one match for Brazil in a package that includes accommodation, but the number of Brazilians who will travel to Qatar will be greater if those who are looking for alternative accommodations are included.

At cheaper prices, the 2018 World Cup in Russia was attended by regarding 34,000 Brazilian tourists, and they were among those who bought the largest number of tickets for World Cup matches (72,000).

Hospitality packages include first-class tickets, which are for the stands closest to the stadium for one of the matches of the Brazilian national team, with accommodation in a five-star hotel, including transfers. The cheapest option is valued at $8,200. The Brazilian team announced last January that it would stay at the Westin Doha Hotel during the World Cup, and would conduct its training at the Grand Hamad Stadium, the stronghold of Al Arabi Club.
