Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Ekhbariya channel showed a video report, which monitors the opinions of young people and students on the prices of singles housing, and the state of apartments, due to the control of expatriate workers over them.
After the summer vacation ended, students returned to major cities to study in universities, but they were surprised by the high prices of housing for bachelors, as well as employees experiencing the same suffering.
One of the young men said that he pays the rent of 2,100 riyals, while the one registered in the contract is 1,500 riyals, and another added that rents start from 1,800 to 4,000 riyals, and a third added that Riyadh is known for the high rent of real estate.
For his part, the Al-Ekhbariya reporter said that the apartments for bachelors are dilapidated and the prices are astronomical due to the exploitation of real estate offices by the need of young people for housing, whether university students or employees in companies, unlike the control of expatriate workers over the apartments without oversight.
