A missile attack destroyed a Ukrainian shopping center on Monday when more than 1,000 people were inside, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

The attack took place in the city of Kremenchuk, in the center-east of the country, and caused the death of at least 10 personas and left 40 other wounds, of which nine are in critical condition, according to the head of the Poltava regional administration, Dmytro Lunin.

“It is impossible to imagine the number of victims. [El centro commercial] it did not represent a threat to the Russian Army. No strategic value. People just wanted to live a normal life, which is what makes the occupants so angry,” the president wrote on Telegram.
