A shorter work week and investments.. Here are the most prominent advantages that companies add to attract employees

Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Employers are currently seeking to increase employee benefits in an effort to attract and retain employees. Here’s what some companies are doing to win employees right now:

  • Shortening the work week

The shift to remote work during the pandemic has allowed more employees to work for companies outside their home city, and it has made competition for talent more intense.

Some companies have adopted a 4-day-a-week working system, and they have not cut employee salaries.

  • Providing investment opportunities

Some investment companies have given their employees investment opportunities such as those they offer to their clients, in an attempt to retain employees.

  • Paid leave before starting work

Some companies have paid new employees even before they start working, or offer a week of paid vacation before their first day of work.

  • Give rewards and quick offers

Healthcare companies have offered login bonuses ranging from $3,000 to $10,000 for certified medical assistants or nurses.

Some companies have also adopted the “rapid-recruitment approach” which aims to provide offers to candidates quickly and, in some cases, on the same day as interviews.
