Female employees of Expo 2020 Dubai joined Reem Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai, for a unique opportunity to celebrate International Women’s Day, Tuesday.
This came in support of the slogan “Breaking Prejudice”, which is the slogan for this year’s International Women’s Day, and in appreciation of the UAE’s commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women.

By praising and celebrating the meaningful impact that women have had on society throughout history, while at the same time highlighting the challenges that still need to be overcome, Expo 2020 Dubai is committed to bringing regarding positive change, exploring shared experiences, and adopting limitless methods to build a fairer and more just world.
The Women’s Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, in cooperation with Cartier, is leading the celebrations for International Women’s Day; The pavilion invites visitors to the international event to learn regarding a fundamental principle, which is that “humanity flourishes, in the flourishing of women”.
