On Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in the parallel market, according to businessmen and dealers in the money market who spoke to the newspaper (Kush News) in Khartoum, the dollar recorded 580.00 pounds, to be recorded in the evening regarding 595 pounds.
The Central Bank of Sudan stopped announcing an indicative price for the US dollar as of Tuesday, March 8, 2022 AD, and left setting the price to banks and money exchanges, while a number of commercial banks announced on Wednesday the price of the dollar and it ranged between 525-560 pounds to the dollar.
