A surviving iPhone 4s prototype

The iPhone 4s will celebrate in October the 10 years of its launch. It is the ultimate iPhone that was finalized before the death of Steve Jobs. YouTube channel Apple Demo posted a small video of a prototype of this model.

Originally from Shenzhen in China, it passed from hand to hand but initially it should have been destroyed. It was used more particularly to test the resilience of the baseband (the low-level code in charge of cellular communications) after forced crash tests.

Who says prototype also says a minimal system and an interface arid and more useful than anything else. Testing prototypes doesn’t have to be very fun fun (See as well New photos and video of an Apple Watch prototype).
