The Turkish actor of Iraqi origin, Aser West, ignited social media, and received condemning and angry reactions following he showed his full support for Israel, in light of the bombing, destruction, and loss of innocent lives that the Gaza Strip is being subjected to.

West, who was known for starring in the series “Hawa Baghdad,” shared the Israeli flag through the story feature on his official page on the social networking site, commenting: “Screw Palestine,” which caused a large number of users to launch a sharp and violent attack on him, expressing their anger at his behavior, which they described as Despicable, given his Arab origins.

It is noteworthy that West, who is of Iraqi origins, as his grandmother is of Iraqi origin, but he was born in New York City on February 5, 1990. He later moved to live in Turkey, and his star shone through the Iraqi series “Hawa Baghdad”, which was shown in 2017, and then following he participated in the program “Survivor” in Turkey, where he achieved 23 wins and 19 defeats in 42 matches, but he left the program in the fifth week because he might not bear the hunger.
