A video that denounced the Swedish government showed Erdogan hanging from his feet

January 13, 2023

Baghdad / Obelisk: Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Christerson condemned today, Friday, a video clip published by a Kurdish group in Stockholm showing a doll representing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hanging by his feet with a rope.

Christerson told TV4 it was very dangerous to organize a staged execution of an elected foreign leader.

The video, posted on Twitter by the Rojava Committee (the name for the Kurdish regions in northern Syria), a group close to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), shows images of the late Italian dictator Benito Mussolini’s execution in 1945 and then an Erdogan-like doll hanging from a rope and swinging in front of the Stockholm City Council.

And it was written in a text attached to the video that history shows the end of tyrants, according to what was reported by the French Press Agency.
