A Vietnamese company establishes a factory for electric cars in America

Vietnamese automaker Finfast plans to produce electric cars at a new plant in the United States, with an initial investment of $2 billion.


Finfast signed a memorandum of understanding with the US state of North Carolina regarding the plant, and construction of the first phase of it will begin this year. Production is expected to start in July 2024, with a production capacity of 150,000 cars annually, and the plant will provide regarding 7,000 jobs.
