A walk to improve local health care in Baie-Saint-Paul

This event organized by the Baie-Saint-Paul Hospital Foundation, the City of Baie-Saint-Paul and the volunteer Maurice Lavoie will take place on September 24, on the bike path of the Saint-Aubin Educational Center.

Participants are invited to walk to benefit the Foundation’s Treaty-Health Fund. It aims to develop health care and social services in the region and funds support projects for people with heart problems, diabetes or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. A project to which Maurice Lavoie is particularly attached.

According to him, the idea is to make this walk accessible to as many people as possible.

The goal is to mobilize at least 100 people this year and raise approximately $10,000. To register, go to Foundation website. It is also possible to make donations directly to the IGA Supermarket in Baie-Saint-Paul or at the Familiprix pharmacy checkout on September 23, 24 and 25.
