This Monday around 8 a.m., a woman who was traveling on foot was hit by a TGV in the middle of the track, between the municipalities of Tonneins and Aiguillon, in Lot-et-Garonne. Specialized teams and gendarmes were mobilized to intervene on the spot. The exact circumstances of the tragedy are unknown.
Traffic was completely interrupted in both directions between Marmande and Agen. Substitution buses have been deployed as relays by the SNCF. The resumption of traffic is planned for 12 p.m. Train traffic is also very disrupted on the Bordeaux-Agen line.
