A young man and a student are found dead in a shed in a deserted homestead – Cherthala suicide

Cherthala ∙ A young man and a female student were found dead in a shed in an abandoned farm near Pallipuram. Ananthakrishnan (23), son of Thilakan and Jeeja, of Pallipuram Chenganda Kari, and Elizabeth (17), daughter of Shibu and late Bindu, a resident of Kottayam Pala, who live on rent near them, were found dead yesterday evening.

Ananthakrishnan was hanging dead and Elizabeth was lying on the ground. Elizabeth, a student of a private school in Poochakkal, left home yesterday saying she was going to school. When he did not return in the evening, the family lodged a complaint with Cherthala police. The dead bodies were found during the investigation.

The bodies will be shifted to the taluk hospital this morning. The Cherthala police informed that the postmortem will be conducted in the presence of the police surgeon.

Ananthakrishnan is an aluminum fabrication worker.
