Sheikh Abdullah Rushdi announced the death of his wife, in a post on his official Facebook account.
Rushdi said: “I moved to the mercy of God Almighty, my beloved wife, following ten that lasted fifteen years, during which she was the loving wife and loyal companion on the path.”
And he added, “God has commanded us to separate today in the hope that I will meet her in the gardens of eternity, God willing.. The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow, Sunday, at the Sayyidah Nafisa Mosque in Cairo, following the noon prayer.”
